Health and fitness agenda: Yoga Journal Conference in Colorado ...

Coming up, thousands of yogis head to the mountains of Colorado to stretch and mingle at the premiere Yoga Journal Conference, while natural food expo BioFach America unfurls its flag in Baltimore.

16th Yoga Journal Conference: Colorado
September 18-25
Estes Park, Colorado, US

Yoga publication Yoga Journal is offering more than 100 classes taught by some 35 master and celebrity yoga teachers, including Baron Baptiste, Shiva Rea, David Swenson, and Bo Forbes, in the Colorado Rockies for seven days. The conference also takes place in San Francisco, New York, and Wisconsin, with each drawing crowds of around four thousand. A full seven-day pass is $1,285 after that. A weekend pass costs $535; a day pass costs $295.

Pinktober 2011 is the 12th annual Hard Rock campaign for breast cancer awareness. Musicians worldwide will host events to support breast cancer charities that include concerts, showcases and fashion shows.
